GENESIS

Cordancia Chamber Orchestra presents a compelling musical journey with “Genesis, a Symphonic Arche,” conducted by guest conductor Raúl Munguía. Composed by H. John Hartmann, this work invites audiences to experience the vast arc of creation through sound. In Genesis, a Symphonic Arche, Hartmann musically portrays the unfolding story of Earth—from its earliest beginnings through the present age and into a hopeful future. The composition reflects the composer’s vision that the evolution of the planet parallels the inner development of humanity itself. Through rich orchestral color and sweeping musical gestures, the work encourages listeners to reflect on the shared journey of humanity and our connection to the world around us.
