Hilda Grace

Cellist Hilda Grace holds an MM degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a BM from the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecti­cut. At Roberts Wesleyan College she entered the advanced certification program in pursuit of the New York State public school certification. She studied cello with David Wells and was his teaching assistant at the Man­hattan School of Music. Hilda was chosen to perform at the 1980 “Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar for Cellists” at the University of Southern California. Hilda was co-principal cellist of the Maracaibo Symphony Orchestra tour­ing North, Central, and South America. She has performed with the East­ern Music Festival in Greensboro, North Carolina and was principal cellist for the Oratorio Orchestra of New Jersey. She has taught for 17 years in the public schools in Greece and Pittsford.
