Nicole Walton

Nicole Walton (violin) received her Bachelor in Music Education with a concentration in violin from SUNY Fredonia and her Masters in Music Education from Nazareth University with a concentration in viola. Nicole has served as an orchestra director in the Rush-Henrietta Central school district since 2010. During the fall of 2025 she also directed the HochStrings group at the Hochstein School of Music. As an active freelance violinist and violist, she regularly performs with Cordancia Chamber Orchestra (violin), the Greater Rochester Women’s Philharmonic (viola), and her quartet Pizzicatomus (Violin). She also on occasion performs with the Penfield Symphony Orchestra, Roberts Symphony Orchestra, and the Genesee Symphony Orchestra. She has served on the MCSMA (Monroe County School Music Association) executive board for many years, currently serving as the Senior High All-County Orchestra coordinator.
