Sophia Klin
A 2023 graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Sophia Klin performs as a violinist around the region with ensembles such as the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphoria, and more. As a chamber musician, she has recently been featured in the Friends of Vienna concert series in Buffalo and as a cast member in IF: String Quartet Theatre in Syracuse, a production combining chamber music with immersive theatre. With a strong interest in contemporary music, Sophia has performed numerous orchestral, chamber, and solo works of the past few decades and has worked with many living composers. She joined the ROCmusic faculty in 2023 as a violin instructor. Sophia has also been an active performer in her hometown of Binghamton, NY , playing in the Binghamton Baroque Orchestra for several years and performing as a soloist with the Binghamton Youth Symphony and Binghamton Community Orchestra. In addition to violin, she occasionally performs on tuba, voice, and steel drums.
