Peggy Quackenbush, clarinet
Peggy Quackenbush is an active performer of orchestral and chamber music throughout greater Rochester. She performs regularly with the Antara Winds, Penfield Symphony Orchestra, the Rochester Oratorio Society Orchestra, and has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, Syracuse Symphony, and Society for Chamber Music in Rochester. She retired in 2022 after serving 43 years on the faculty and staff at The Hochstein School, including 30 years as President & Executive Director. She has received many local and national awards for her leadership in and service to the field of community arts education. She holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with D. Stanley Hasty.
